Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices
Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The Peabody Energy Corporation (NYSE:BTU) has announced the distribution of certain coal assets via a special dividend to shareholders. For every ten shares of Peabody Energy, shareholders will receive one share of Patriot Coal Corporation (NYSE:PCX). After the close of trading on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, the distributed shares of Patriot Coal will be added to the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index.

FINRA Fines UBS Financial Services $370,000 For Late Reporting, Failing To Report Broker Information - Firm Was Late With More Than 550 Disclosure Filings Relating To Customer Complaints, Regulatory Actions And Criminal Disclosures - Firm Failed To Disclo
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that it has censured and fined UBS Financial Services, Inc. (UBS) $370,000, for making hundreds of late disclosures to FINRA's Central Registration Depository (CRD) of information about its brokers, including customer complaints, regulatory actions and criminal disclosures. Those reporting violations occurred over a three-year period, from January 2002 through December 2004.

The Disciplinary Committee At The OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm Fines Nobel Biocare Holding AG
Nobel Biocare has contravened the listing agreement with the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm by not handling price-sensitive information correctly. The exchange’s Disciplinary Committee has ordered Nobel Biocare to pay a fine of SEK 768,000.
