CHX Announces Record Volume And Increased Provide Rebate
The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) today announced that October was a post Reg NMS record month for both share and trade volume. CHX daily volume averaged 40.7 million shares, a 45% increase over September. In addition, trade volume surged more than 100% over August's record breaking levels. Capitalizing on this momentum, the CHX has instituted the most aggressive Tape B rebate plan in the industry.

CBOE's Volume Rises 41% In October - Average Daily Volume Of 3.9 Million Contracts Is 35% Above Year Ago, New All-Time Record Set In Monthly Equity Options Volume
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that average daily volume during October totaled 3,869,575 contracts, an increase of 35% over the average daily volume of 2,876,483 contracts from October 2006. For the month, a total of 89,000,228 contracts traded, which was 41% above the 63,282,628 contracts traded from a year ago.

Deutsche Börse: 55 Percent Rise In Turnover On Xetra In October - Total Volume Of €239 Billion Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany
In October €217 billion were turned over on Xetra and on the floor of Börse Frankfurt – a rise of 52 percent year-on-year (October 2006: €142 billion). Thereof €204 billion were traded on Xetra gaining 55 percent year-on-year (October 2006: €131.2 billion) and €13 billion on the floor (October 2006: €11,4 billion). Trading Volumes At Eurex Up By 22 Percent To 146 Million Contracts - Fixed income Derivatives Strongest Segment With 61 Million Contracts - Equity Index Derivatives Segment With Strongest Growth Year-On-Year (Y-O-Y)
A total of 146 million contracts were traded on the Eurex international derivatives exchange in October, a year-on-year increase of 22 percent (October 2006: 119 million contracts). Approximately 1.61 billion contracts were traded year-to-date, surpassing last years overall volume of 1.527 billion contracts. Open Interest remains stable and reached 133 million contracts at the end of October.

October Volume Shatters More MGEX Records
The records continue to fall at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange). October trading volume exceeded the previous October record volume by 48 percent (200,448 vs. 135,336 contracts). It also ranked as the second highest monthly volume in the history of the Exchange.

CME Group Reports October 2007 Volume Averaged 9.5 Million Contracts Per Day, Up 14 Percent
CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange, today announced October volume averaged 9.5 million contracts per day, up 14 percent from October 2006. Total electronic volume averaged 7.7 million contracts per day, up 28 percent from the prior October. Total volume exceeded 218 million contracts for the month -- of which a record 81 percent were traded electronically.
