CBOE Elects Ten Individuals To Board Of Directors - Public Directors Robert Birnbaum, Janet Froetscher, R. Eden Martin And Roderick Palmore Re-Elected
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that in its annual election held today, Thursday, November 15, the membership elected ten individuals to the CBOE board of directors to fill expired and vacant positions. The new terms will begin on January 1, 2008.

SEC Votes To Propose Improvement Of Mutual Fund Disclosure
The Commission today voted to propose rule changes that are intended to improve mutual fund disclosure. The proposed rules would require that all mutual fund investors receive a clear, concise summary of key information needed to make an informed investment decision. The rule changes would also encourage funds to harness the power of the Internet to allow investors to choose the format in which they receive more detailed information and to provide that information in a more user-friendly format

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices
Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of Gateway Casinos Income Fund (TSX:GCI.UN) have accepted the $CDN25.26 cash per unit offer from New World Gaming Partners Ltd. Gateway Casinos Income Fund will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index. The transaction will be effective after the close on Monday, November 19, 2007.

SEC Votes To Adopt Three Rules To Improve Regulation Of Smaller Businesses
The Securities and Exchange Commission today voted to adopt three measures to modernize and improve its capital-raising, reporting and disclosure requirements for smaller companies. These measures address some of the key recommendations made by the SEC's Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies in its final report.

NASDAQ Supports New SEC Rules Allowing Non-U.S. Companies To File Financial Statements Using International Financial Reporting Standards - NASDAQ Proposes Amendment To Its Rules To Allow Companies Full Benefit Of This Change
The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ(r)") (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced it fully supports the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) decision today to allow non-U.S. companies to file their financial statements with the SEC using International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). SEC: Fee Rate Advisory #3 For Fiscal Year 2008
The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal year 2008 since Oct. 1, 2007, has been extended further through Dec. 14, 2007. Therefore, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

The DIRECTV Group Announces Switch To The Nasdaq Stock Market
The DIRECTV Group today announced that it will switch its stock exchange listing from The New York Stock Exchange to The Nasdaq Stock Market, effective December 3. DIRECTV will be listed on The NASDAQ Global Select Market and trade on the exchange with the ticker symbol Nasdaq:DTV.

CFTC Action Allows OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm AB’s Futures Contract Based On The VINX30 Index To Be Offered And Sold In The United States
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC's) Office of General Counsel issued a no-action letter on November 13, 2007, permitting the offer and sale in the United States of OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm AB’s (OMX Stockholm’s) futures contract based on the VINX30 Index (VINX30).
