Tokyo Stock Exchange: Revision Of Internal Organization

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) will set up a "Marketing Office" as of December 1st, 2008 for the purpose of consolidating its marketing and sales functions, across a variety of products and services. By establishing a single point of access, outside users will be able to contact the TSE more easily. TSE is committed to moving towards a thoroughly user-oriented perspective and to accelerating its marketing activities beyond the existing organizational framework.

The Number Of Trades On FORTS Exceeded 235 Thousand

On November 24th, 2008 the number of trades on FORTS hit a new record high. By the end of the main trading session the FORTS members had made as many as 235 180 trades in futures and options. The previous record was set on November 21st, 2008 when the FORTS members entered into 229 123 trades.
