Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: JAVA) today announced new benchmark performance results for Thomson Reuters market data platform. The new benchmark demonstrates that running the platform, known as Reuters Market Data System 6.0.3 (RMDS), on Sun technology not only provides the best throughput performance to date by breaking the million-messages-per second barrier, but also the lowest available network latency on a 1Gb Ethernet.

Börse Berlin Now Officially A Member Of The Federation Of European Securities Exchanges (FESE)
Börse Berlin is now a member of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges, FESE. The membership was officially announced at the annual FESE Convention on 17 June. FESE provides an outstanding forum at the European level for discussing developments and formulating position papers in response to policy proposals and consultation documents.

SGX AsiaClear Posts Strong Growth In Value Of Trades Cleared And Number Of Counterparty Accounts In First Half Of 2008
Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) announced today that the value of over-the-counter (OTC) trades cleared by SGX AsiaClear® in Forward Freight Agreements (FFAs) and Oil Swaps from January to June 2008 nearly tripled to US$3.8 billion from US$1.3 billion in the first half of 2007.

Study Shows EuroCCP Has Lowest Clearing Costs In Europe - Scale For Sale Delivers Competitive Avantage For MTFs & Exchanges
A study published today by European Central Counterparty Limited (EuroCCP) has found it offers the lowest costs for clearing in Europe based on tariffs disclosed by all service providers, as required under the European Code of Conduct for Clearing and Settlement.

Tokyo Financial Exchange Trading Volume in June 2008
In June 2008, the trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 2,474,997, decreasing 39.9% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and increasing 34.5% in comparison to that of the prior month, and the average daily volume was 117,857.
