UK's Financial Services Authority Consults On Strengthening Firms' Capital Standards

(NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global regulated futures exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, announced that ICE Futures Europe set an exchange-wide daily volume record of 1,249,239 contracts on December 9. The new record was established on the exchange's first ever million-plus volume day and surpassed by 27% the previous daily record of 982,151 contracts, which was set on June 6, 2008.
