LME-SGX Metal Futures Set For Launch On 15 February 2011 - Metal Contracts In Aluminium, Copper And Zinc Will Be First To Market - New Contracts Will Enable Asian Investors To Gain Exposure To Metals Prices

Singapore Exchange (SGX) and London Metal Exchange Ltd (LME) will jointly launch three new metal contracts on SGX on 15 February 2011. The three metal contracts are copper, aluminium and zinc futures.

ICE Cotton No. 2 Futures Contract Sets Daily Volume Record

ICE Futures U.S., a leading regulated U.S. futures exchange for global agricultural, equity index and currency markets, announced a new daily volume record for the Cotton No. 2 futures contract. 101,516 Cotton No. 2 futures contracts traded on the exchange on Wednesday, November 10, surpassing the previous record of 85,945 lots established on February 15, 2008.

Eurex To Launch Dividend Futures On Swiss Single Stocks - Introduction Scheduled For 30 November 2010 - New Listings Are Extension Of Successful Dividend Futures Product Range

The international derivatives exchange Eurex announced today that it will offer futures contracts based on dividends of leading Swiss companies starting on 30 November 2010. The new contracts are based on dividends from ABB, Compagnie Financière Richemont, Roche Holding, Credit Suisse Group, Nestle, Novartis, Schweizerische Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft, Swisscom, UBS and Zurich Financial Services. All underlying firms are part of the Swiss blue-chip index SMI.

HKEx: Arrangements For Adjustment Of ICBC Futures And Options

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced the arrangements for the adjustment to the contract terms of all open Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) futures and options contracts in existence after the market close on 19 November 2010, the business day immediately before the ex-rights day, which is 22 November 2010, to account for ICBC’s 0.45 H rights shares for every 10 existing H shares.

Trading volume of KOSPI 200 Options was 39,324,648 contracts on November 11, 2010, surpassing the previous record of 37,284,508 contracts set on June 10, 2010. Trading value reached up to KRW 2.1 trillion, which ranks eighth this year.
