    The Singapore High Court today found that a Malaysian fund manager, Pheim Asset Management Sdn Bhd (“Pheim Malaysia”), and its founder and CEO, Dr Tan Chong Koay had contravened the market rigging provisions under section 197(1)(b) of the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) by trading with the intention of creating a false or misleading appearance in the price of United Envirotech Ltd (“UET”) shares.   • Singapore Exchange: New OTC Rubber Clearing Service To Be Launched On 11 October

    Singapore Exchange (SGX) today said it is launching a new commodity clearing service for over-the-counter (“OTC”) traded rubber contracts through its subsidiary, Singapore Commodity Exchange (“SICOM”) following its collaboration with Sino Rubber Electronic Trading Market Ltd (“Sino Rubber”) in February this year.
