Hellenic Exchanges S.A. Holding: HELEX Q1 2009 Financial Statements- Euro 5.8m Net After Tax Profits
The consolidated net after tax profits of HELEX for Q1 2009 amounted to euro 5.8m vs. euro 18.4m in Q1 2008, a 68% reduction. The consolidated turnover of the Group dropped by 61%, to euro 12.8m vs. euro 32.8m in Q1 2008.

CFE's Average Daily Volume In April Dips 3% From Previous Month - ADV In VIX Futures Unchanged Compared To March
The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) today announced that average daily volume during April 2009 totaled 2,220 contracts, off three percent from 2,285 contracts traded during March 2009. Total trading volume during the month of April 2009 was 46,624 contracts, seven percent below the previous month when 50,271 contracts changed hands.

Average Daily Volume Of 11.8 Million Contracts At Eurex And ISE In April - Stable Turnover In Equity Index And Equity Derivatives/ Moderate Growth In Average Daily Trading Volume At ISE
At the international derivatives markets of Eurex an average daily volume of 11.8 million contracts was traded in April (April 2008: 12.4 million) – a decrease of 5 percent. Thereof, 7.6 million contracts were traded at Eurex (April 2008: 8.4 Mio.) and 4.2 million contracts were traded at the International Securities Exchange (ISE) (April 2008: 4.0). In total, 240.0 million contracts were traded on both exchanges (Eurex: 152.2 million, ISE: 87.8 million) compared to April 2008 with 273.

100 Billion Euro Turnover At Deutsche Börse In April - 15.1 Million Trades Executed On Xetra - Total Volume Of €115.7 Billion Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany
In April, €100.0 billion were turned over on Xetra and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt – a decrease of some 43 percent year-on-year (April 2008: €175.4 billion). Of the €100.0 billion turnover €93.5 billion were traded on Xetra, a decrease by some 44 percent year-on-year (April 2008: €166.6 billion) and €6.5 billion on the floor (April 2008: €8.8 billion).

CME Group Announces the Launch of PJM Western Hub Swap Futures Contract
CME Group Inc., the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced a new PJM Western Hub 50 MW peak calendar month real-time LMP swap futures contract, scheduled to begin trading on May 17 for trade date May 18. This contract is listed with, and subject to, the rules and regulations of NYMEX. It will be available on the CME Globex® electronic trading platform.
