MF Global Partners With ELX Futures To Provide Clients Greater Access To Fixed Income Market - ELX Futures, A New Electronic Futures Exchange, To Launch July 10
ELX Futures, L.P. (ELX Futures), a new fully electronic futures exchange, announced today that MF Global Ltd. (NYSE:MF), a leading intermediary offering customized solutions in global cash and derivatives markets, will become an exchange Participant and offer FCM services for ELX Futures, which will launch trading in U.S. Treasury futures contracts on July 10.

London Stock Exchange Welcomes RusHydro
The London Stock Exchange today welcomed RusHydro, the world's largest publicly traded hydro generation company, to its Main Market. The company’s securities are traded on the Russian MICEX and RTS stock exchanges, and it has chosen to list a GDR on the Exchange in order to gain access to a wider range of international investors and deepen liquidity.

Direct Edge Monthly Volume For June 2009
Direct Edge announced today statistical information regarding its volume for June 2009. Direct Edge reported 1.60 billion shares handled per day in June, representing a 122.98% year-over-year increase. Direct Edge had a matched share of 11.89%. Direct Edge’s matched market share ranked third among all U.S. equity markets, behind only the NYSE and NASDAQ.

NASDAQ OMX Appoints Eric W. Noll As Executive Vice President Of Transaction Services Business
The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced that Eric W. Noll has been appointed as Executive Vice President of NASDAQ OMX Transaction Services. Mr. Noll will join NASDAQ OMX effective July 13 and report to Chief Executive Officer Bob Greifeld.

EPEX Spot: New Daily Intraday Indices On EPEX Spot’s Website
EPEX Spot SE publishes on its website a new Intraday Index on the French Intraday Market Segment. The purpose of this index is to give a daily overview of the price development on the French Intraday market as requested by market participants. A similar index is envisaged for the German Intraday Market Segment in the aftermath of Powernext and EEX’s spot power market integration process.

Warsaw Stock Exchange: Derivative Instruments And Structured Products Market In June 2009
Derivative Instruments The volume of trading in all derivative instruments was 1.4 million in June 2009. It was the second highest volume of trading in all derivative instruments in the history of the WSE (the highest volume was 1.6 million instruments in October 2008). The number of open interest was 118.1 thousand instruments at the end of June. The volume of trading in all derivative instruments was 6.6 million instruments year to date, at 53% of last year’s volume. <
