  • HKEx's Second Phase New Trading Hours To Begin 5 March

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) will implement the second phase of the new trading hours for its securities and derivatives markets1 from 5 March (Monday) this year.  The implementation of the second phase of the new trading hours is aimed at aligning the opening of the Hong Kong securities market's afternoon trading session with that of the Mainland market, and further increasing the overall competitiveness of HKEx's markets in the region.

  • Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 2011 Performance Of ChiNext-Listed Companies Comes Out

    The 2011 yearly performance of ChiNext companies has been released. Until Feb,29, 2011, 291 ChiNext companies had approved the annual report, performance express news and listing announcements, all of which includes the relevant finance data for 2011. Among these companies, 29 listed companies had made the disclosure on 2011 annual report, 4 newly-listed companies had disclosed 2011 relevant finance data in the listing announcements, and the rest all released the performance express-news. Generally speaking, ChiNext companies keep the continued growth in 2011 performance, with a batch of high-growth companies surfacing. But, on the other side, it shows that the small-medium sized enterprises were significantly affected owing to the complication of macro-economy situations, along with the slowing-down growth of the overall performance of ChiNext board and the further divided performance.
