Strong Developments At NASDAQ OMX Baltic
NASDAQ OMX Baltic today announced that during 2010, Baltic general indices have performed outstandingly compared to other European and even global average increases. The trading activity has increased at the markets operated by NASDAQ OMX Baltic exchanges compared to the year before counted by daily number of trades and the traded total value reached almost 2009 level.

Tokyo Financial Exchange: Trading Volume In December 2010 And Year 2010
The trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 957,640 decreasing 14.9% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and decreasing 22.9% in comparison to that of the prior month, and the average daily volume was 45,602 .

Euroclear Nederland Ready For Dutch Securities Dematerialisation
Euroclear Nederland is now taking measures to remove all paper-based securities certificates in the Netherlands, in compliance with an amendment to the Dutch Securities Giro Act (“Wet giraal effectenverkeer”). Signalling a move towards full securities dematerialisation in the Netherlands by the end of 2013, the revised legislation, which took effect on 1 January 2011, means that:

Strong Growth At NASDAQ OMX Nordic
During 2010 activity has increased significantly at the markets operated by NASDAQ OMX Nordic compared to the year before. Based on trading until Dec 31 the average daily share trading amounted to EUR 2.5 billion, (2009: EUR 2.2 billion). The number of share trades per day amounted to 285,000 trades per day (2009: 214,000), an increase of 33% compared to 2009. The total derivatives trading amounted to 546,000 contracts per day, (2009: 400,000 contracts per day), up with 37%.

Osaka Securities Exchange: SPAN Parameter Updated Jan. 11, 2011 - Jan. 14, 2011
OSE has set up SPAN Parameter for calculating margin requirements as follows. This SPAN Parameter is used for calculating "SPAN Risk Parameter Files" which are distributed on a daily basis. OSE sets and publishes new Parameters on the first business day of each week, which are applicable from the first business day of the next week.

Bucharest Stock Exchange Adopts Bloomberg Identifiers
Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) today announced that it is the first exchange in Romania to implement Bloomberg's Global Identifiers (BBGID), as the financial instrument identifier associated with all BVB securities. The identifiers are available free-of-charge to all investors on the BVB website www.bvb.ro.
