Bulgarian Company On Warsaw Stock Exchange - KDPW Performs The Full Processing Of Corporate Actions For Securities Of Bulgarian Issuers

On 28th November the Bulgarian company Sopharma will debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It is the second issuer form Bulgaria – after Intercapital Property Development (NewConnect) - dual-listed in Warsaw. Using the operational link with the Bulgarian market established by KDPW – the Polish CSD – in February 2010, the shares of Bulgarian companies listed in Warsaw can be cleared and settled in Poland, together with the processing of corporate actions related to those securities.

On the occasion of the efforts being done at a European Commission level, in support of the Medium and Small Enterprises regarding the capital raising through Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTFs) and wishing at the same time to incorporate improvements from the experience of the first years of operation of the Alternative Market (EN.A), the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange, approved during yesterday's session, various amendments in the institutional framework (Rules of Operation and Resolutions) of the Alternative Market (EN.A) of ATHEX.
