The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) gears up its 2012 strategy to boost investment in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and stimulate new ETF launches by holding the campaign “ETFs give chances to win a THB 10,000 gift voucher every week,” aiming to increase ETF purchases and boost assets under management to THB 7.5 billion (approx. USD 244.3 million) this year.

Companies listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) report a net profit of THB 625.37 billion (approx. USD 20.42 billion) in January-December, 2011, up 4.30 percent from a year earlier, with four of the industry groups – Resources, Financials, Industrials, and Agro & Food Industry -- having increased their net profit.
