SIMEX 24 – A Major Market-Wide Simulation Exercise To Test The UK Financial Sector’s Resilience To A Major Operational Disruption

The Bank of England, in partnership with UK Finance, the financial sector and the other UK financial authorities (HM Treasury and the Financial Conduct Authority), has undertaken its latest UK market wide simulation exercise, SIMEX 24. The simulation set out to exercise the UK financial sector’s ability to respond to a major infrastructure failure that would require a total shut down and restart of the sector.

BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) listed yesterday, for the first time, four ESG equity ETFs on the London Stock Exchange, showcasing BNPP AM’s range of ETF capabilities across the ESG and thematic spectrum. These ETFs are the sub-funds of BNPP AM’s ICAV, which was created at the start of 2023. This ICAV comes in addition to the existing French and Luxemburg SICAVs. Non-Jordanian Ownership In Companies Listed On The Amman Stock Exchange Reached 47.2%, Of Which 33.0% For Institutional Investors

Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) revealed that the value of shares bought by non-Jordanian investors at the ASE in September 2024 was JD8.9 million, representing 11.0% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD11.5 million.
