Commerzbank and Clearstream today announced a strategic partnership offering their clients increased efficiency, reduced risk and seamless processing to cleared and uncleared OTC derivative transactions. The new TradeCycle service will be launched in Q4 2013 and is the first integrated service of its kind. The joint offering will provide clients access to an integrated management solution for the OTC derivative trade lifecycle: from trading to clearing, settlement and custody, including key services such as advisory, valuation, and collateral management. Market participants will benefit from an end-to-end solution for the handling of OTC derivatives which will allow them to minimise operational inefficiencies, funding costs, enhance yield and improve their risk management as well as being prepared for future regulatory requirements such as EMIR or MiFID/ MiFIR.

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia Securities) has publicly reprimanded IFCA MSC BERHAD (IFCAMSC) for failing to ensure that IFCAMSC’s announcements dated 24 May 2011,16 August 2011, 24 November 2011 and 23 February 2012 on the quarterly reports for the financial period ended 31 March 2011 (1^st QR 2011), 30 June 2011 (2^nd QR 2011), 30 September 2011 (3^rd QR 2011) and 31 December 2011 (4^th QR 2011) took into account the net effect on foreign exchange differences amounting to RM4.032 million upon the de-recognition of an associate (“the Adjustment”).

DMCC recently announced that the Gem and Jewellery Council of India (GJEPC) supports the inclusion of imports of gold from Dubai Good Delivery Standard (DGD) compliant refiners into India.  Simultaneously, Signet Jewelers Ltd. (Signet) confirmed that based on independent evaluation, the DGD standard is compliant with the Signet Responsible Sourcing Protocol (SRSP) for gold. Signet is the largest speciality retail jeweller in the USA and the UK.
