London Stock Exchange Group In Technology Partnership With Lima Stock Exchange

London Stock Exchange Group today announced that it has entered into a technology partnership with Bolsa de Valores de Lima. MillenniumIT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Group will provide state of the art trading and Smart Order Routing technology to Peru's markets via its ultra low latency, highly scalable trading platform, Millennium Exchange and Millennium SOR.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange: TOCOM Gold Price Back On Advancement Today: 4,911 Yen/Gram

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc, announced that its December 2013 Gold futures contract (back contract month) temporarily reached 4,911 yen per gram during today’s session renewing the highest price recorded since the listing of gold futures contract at TOCOM on March 23, 1982. Gold price has continued to rise on TOCOM recently, and the all-time high was recorded in the three consecutive days until January 18. Daily trading volume of Gold futures (standard) was 99,878 contracts (including 76,945 contracts traded for December 2013 contract) and the entire TOCOM market to 185,796 contracts today.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange Delisted Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index Futures

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (TOCOM) announced today it had completed the procedure for delisting the Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index Futures contract (TOCOM NEXT) upon receipt of required regulatory approval from the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry on January 11, 2013.

The Russell Developed Europe Large Cap Emerging Markets GeoExposure Index, designed to track the performance of companies within its parent index the Russell Developed Europe Large Cap Index with significant revenue exposure to emerging markets, outperformed its parent index by 0.9% year-to-date, 1.7% (annualized) for three years and 5.5% (annualized) for four years ended January 16th (index history inception is July 2008).

Tokyo Commodity Exchange Officially Approved To Launch Agricultural Product And Sugar Market On February 12, 2013

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc, (TOCOM) announced today that the launch of the Agricultural Product and Sugar Market has been approved by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. This approval has prompted the Exchange to set an official opening date of the new market for February 12, 2013. The products to be listed include: corn, soybeans, azuki (red beans) and raw sugar. The contract specifications will match those of the Tokyo Grain Exchange, except for a few amendments such as trading hours (9:00-15:30 and 17:00-4:00 JST).
