EEX Selects Trading Technologies’ Next-Generation Trading Platform As Direct Screen Offer

The European Energy Exchange AG (EEX), Europe’s leading energy exchange, and Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a provider of high-performance professional trading platforms, today announced that EEX has contracted with TT to supply the exchange’s trading participants with direct access to the exchange via the direct screen. The software-as-a-service (SaaS) TT platform provides secure, high-performance, go-anywhere market access and trade execution.

European Central Bank Monetary Policy Decisions - Interest Rate Cut By 10 Basis Points To 0.05%

The interest rate on the main refinancing operations of the Eurosystem will be decreased by 10 basis points to 0.05%, starting from the operation to be settled on 10 September 2014.

HKEx: Establishment Of Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect

Further to the announcements dated 10 April and 29 April 2014, SEHK and HKSCC, wholly-owned subsidiaries of HKEx, have entered into an agreement with SSE and ChinaClear to establish Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, comprising the Trading Links and the Clearing Links.

HKEx: Four-Party Agreement For Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect Signed

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK) and Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (HKSCC), wholly-owned subsidiaries of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), signed an agreement (the Four-party Agreement) today (Thursday) with the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (ChinaClear) for the establishment of Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, a scheme that will allow investors with access to one market to buy and sell eligible shares listed on the other market.
