    On October 31, at the 5th anniversary of the launch of the ChiNext Board, the founding meeting of Strategic Planning Committee under the Board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) was held in SZSE. On the meeting, the founding background of Strategic Planning Committee was introduced and the operating situation of the ChiNext Board during these five years since its establishment was presented.     Recently, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) organized the 5th session of ‘Foreign Investors Approaching Listed Company’ activity. 30 foreign investors from the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, and Taiwan Region of China visited six companies listed on the ChiNext, including Tempus Global, Tianyuan Dic, Centre Testing, Tatfook Technology, Jufei Optoelectronics, Sunwoda, and had thorough exchange with the senior managements of the companies. These foreign investors also visited the market supervision system of SZSE, learned about the supervision system of the ChiNext Board market. This event is one of the series activities that mark the 5th anniversary of the launch of the ChiNext Board.

New records were set in monthly average daily volume (ADV) and monthly total volume, as well as for single-day and week-long trading activity.

  • CBOE Holdings Reports All-Time Record Trading Volume In October

    CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) reported today that trading volume for options contracts on Chicago Board Options Exchange® (CBOE®) and C2 Options ExchangeSM (C2SM) and futures contracts on CBOE Futures ExchangeSM (CFE®) set an all-time monthly record of 163.08 million contracts in October. Average daily volume (ADV) was a record 7.09 million contracts, a 29-percent increase from October 2013 and a 37-percent increase from September 2014. The new ADV record surpasses CBOE Holdings’ previous ADV high of 6.65 million contracts in August 2011.
