The fourth edition of the Euronext Lisbon Awards, was held yesterday. During the event, the Lisbon Stock Exchange distinguished the issuers, financial intermediaries and other institutions, as well as the individuals who, in 2014, played an important role in the Portuguese capital market. The Minister of Economy, António Pires de Lima, closed the event which took place at Culturgest, and was heavily attended by issuers, brokers, investment banks, analysts, fund managers, law firms, academics, governmental entities, regulators and journalists, among other participants.

KRX: KOSDAQ Market Capitalization And KOSDAQ Index Hit A Record High

The market capitalization of the KOSDAQ set a new record of KRW 157.4 trillion on January 28, 2015, an increase of KRW 14.3 trillion (up 10%) from that of 2014. With a sharp rise of the KOSDAQ index recording the highest level in six years and seven months, the market capitalization has also expanded since the beginning of 2015.

TOCOM Suspends Trading Of Raw Sugar Futures

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. announced today the suspension of all trading of the Raw Sugar futures as of the close of day session on January 30,as per the announcement made on January 9. The Exchange received regulatory approval for this suspension from the Ministers of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, as well as Economy, Trade and Industry on January 28.
