Platts: Chinese Steel Prices Get Little Support From Interest Rate Cut

Prices of key Chinese steel exports have fallen to record lows, as a supply overhang and slowing domestic demand are making sellers slash prices in a race to the bottom, according pricing data published by Platts, a leading global provider of energy, petrochemicals, metals and agriculture information.

The Korea Exchange (KRX) announced that it selected ten (10) KOSDAQ-listed stocks including Daum Kakao and Celltrion as underlying assets for single stock futures which will be listed on Aug 3, 2015.

Euronext Launches Wood Pellet Contract - Expansion Into Renewable Energy Sector

Euronext today announced that it will be launching a new Wood Pellet commodities futures contract in the autumn of 2015, subject to regulatory approval.  Aimed at producers, wholesalers and retailers, this physically-settled contract targeting the residential heating sector, will allow the industry to hedge its positions.

The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), during its 715th/ 29.6.2015 Board of Directors’ meeting decided the following:

• The ATHEX regulated market and the Multilateral Trading Facility of “EN.A” (Alternative Market of the Athens Exchange) shall remain closed, throughout the period of bank holiday as prescribed in the Legislative Act of 28 June 2015 i.e. from the 28th of June until the 6th of July (included), taking also into account the relevant decision of the Athens Exchange Decision Committee.
• The Electronic Secondary Market “HDAT”, for government bonds operated by the Bank of Greece shall remain closed, throughout the above period, taking also into account the relevant decision of the Bank of Greece.c
• The suspension of redemption of mutual funds’ units during the above period,
• The suspension of operation of ATHEXClear for the securities traded on the Greek market and the Multilateral Trading Facility “EN.A” and
• The suspension of the settlement of securities traded on the Greek market by the Hellenic Central Securities Depository (CSD), approving the relevant CSD Board of Directors’ decision.

The Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission during today's 715th/29/6/2015 session, decided:

• To keep closed, during the whole duration of the banking holiday according to the Act of Legislative Content (Government Gazette A'65) and any authorization by resolution of the Ministry of Finance, the Regulated Market of Athens Stock Exchange and the Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) Alternative Market, following a relevant decision of the Athens Stock Exchange Stock Markets Steering Committee,  
• The suspension of operation of ATHEXClear for the instruments under trading in the Greek Market and MTF.
• The suspension of securities settlement for Greek Cash Market from the ATHEXCSD, approving a relevant decision of its Board of Directors. 

KRX: Market Capitalization Of KONEX Exceeded KRW 3 Trillion

The market capitalization of the KONEX hit the record high breaking through the level of KRW 3 trillion on June 23 (KRW 3.012 trillion). This performance proved the high growth rate of the KONEX market because it took only 3 months from the day on which the market capitalization reached at KRW 2 trillion level since its history. (KRW 2.097 trillion on April 3, 2015).

Nasdaq Stockholm Orders Eniro To Pay A Fine

The Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm (“the Exchange”) has found that Eniro AB (”Eniro”) has contravened the regulations of Nasdaq Stockholm (”the Rulebook”) partly in terms of the company’s financial reporting and capacity for disclosing information, and partly in terms of the company’s information disclosure in conjunction with adjustment of a forecast.  Accordingly, Eniro will be subjected to a fine corresponding to three times its annual fee (total fine amounts to SEK 597 000).

STOXX AG and Indexium AG are operated as joint ventures by SIX and Deutsche Börse AG (DBAG). SIX confirms that it has entered into negotiations with DBAG over the complete acquisition of the shares SIX holds in the two joint ventures by DBAG at a purchase price of CHF 650 million.
