  • Hellenic Capital Market Commission Announcement: Bank Holiday Extended Until 8th July 2015

    The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), following the decisions of the 29th and the 30th of June 2015 regarding the emergency measures for the Greek capital market, and following the Decision of the Minister of Finance of the 6th of July 2015 by which the bank holiday, and all its accompanying measures, were extended until the 8th of July 2015, included, announces that, during the above bank holiday,:

    • The regulated market and the Multilateral Trading Facility of “EN.A” (Alternative Market) of the Athens Exchange (Athex) will continue to remain closed.
    • The Electronic Secondary Market “HDAT” for bonds, of the Bank of Greece will continue to remain closed.
    • Redemption of mutual funds’ units will continue to be suspended, The clearing of securities traded on the Greek market and the Multilateral Trading Facility “EN.A”, effected by the ATHEXClear, will continue to be suspended and
    • The cash settlement of securities traded on the Greek markets, effected by the Hellenic Central Securities Depository, will continue to be suspended.

  • HKFE Announces Revised Margins For HKEx Futures

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 9 July 2015, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.
