    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 2 September 2015, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

  • Deutsche Börse: Ashwin Kumar Appointed Global Head Of Product Development - Direct Reporting Line To CEO Kengeter

    Ashwin Kumar (49) will become Deutsche Börse Group’s new Global Head of Product Development as of 1 September. In this newly created role, he will report as Managing Director directly to CEO Carsten Kengeter. The key tasks of this new function comprise of research for new products, product enhancements and product redesign along the value chain. He will be responsible to explore business opportunities by identifying demand from both sell-side and buy-side firms.

    The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX), together with Muang Thai Life Assurance pcl, PTT pcl, Kasikornbank pcl and three key institutions in the capital market, have announced the winners of "Young Financial Star Competition 2015" (YFS), consisting of four young financiers from Thammasat University and Chulalongkorn University, as well as one student teams.
