At the end of the settlement date of March 13, 2015, short interest in 2,264 NASDAQ Global MarketSM securities totaled 7,722,396,733 shares compared with 7,619,971,690 shares in 2,269 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of February 27, 2015. The Mid-February short interest represents 4.58 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.69 days for the prior reporting period.

Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) staff  have issued a Notice of Hearing alleging that Ronald James Aitkens, Roy Juergen Beyer, Foundation Group Capital Trust, 0865701 B.C. Ltd., Harvest Capital Management Inc., Foundation Capital Corporation, Foundation Securities Corporation, Stoney View Crossing Inc., Stoney View Capital Inc., Harbour View Landing Inc., and Harbour View Capital Inc. breached Alberta securities laws and acted contrary to the public interest.

Euronext Announces Debt Repayment

Euronext today announced that on 23 March 2015 Euronext NV repaid €140 million as an early repayment of the €250 million Term Loan drawn on 19 June 2014. Simultaneously, Euronext NV increased the undrawn Revolving Credit Facility to €390 million. The term of both instruments is three years starting on 23 March 2015, with two one year extension possibilities. The related terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) represented by the CEO of the ASE, Mr. Nader Azar, received a delegation from Northwestern University / Kellogg School of Management in Chicago / USA. This visit comes within a series of field visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Mr. Azar presented a lecture on the most important legislative, technical and quantitative developments witnessed by the ASE in recent years and the challenges facing the securities industry and the role of capital market institutions in the provision of an attractive environment for investment especially in light of the openness of the national economy to foreign investment.
