Thanks for the opportunity to speak to you today. In these brief remarks, I will discuss the progress of the economy and the path forward for monetary policy.1 The current expansion is almost six years old and is now one of the longest since World War II. While the pace of improvement has at times been frustratingly slow, by some measures the recovery is now well advanced. By other measures, there is still room for improvement. Assessing the scope for further improvement will be important in judging the appropriate path for monetary policy.

A new bond index ETF on liquid US investment grade corporate bonds from UBS Global Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra in Deutsche Börse's XTF segment since Wednesday. 

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Launches Morning Disclosure, A Big Move For Deepening Information Disclosure System Reform

Shenzhen Stock Exchange recently promulgated the Notice of Implementing the Information Disclosure Express Practice during Morning Sessions of Trading Days and Non-trading Days, which will initiate the morning information disclosure practice in China’s securities markets. Succeeding the launch of midday disclosure in August 2007, it is another great move of SZSE to implement CSRC’s work deployment of regulatory transition which is centered by information disclosure system.

HKEx: Day Of Records Of Securities Market As Stock Connect Trading increases

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited's (HKEx) securities market turnover rose to an all-time high of $252.4 billion today (Wednesday), exceeding the previous record of $211 billion set on 3 October 2007, as trading through Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect surged to its best level since launch.  The market capitalisation of Hong Kong-listed shares also reached a record high, climbing to $28.6 trillion.

Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) approved the listings of new ETFs managed by “Daiwa Asset Management Co., Ltd.”. These ETFs will be listed on Monday, April 27, 2015.
