Profits On The Palestine Exchange Reach USD 152m In The First Half Of 2015

First half financial results showed that thirty five of forty nine listed companies achieved a net profit of 151,845,742 USD a growth of 2.30% comparing to the same period in 2014, the thirteen loss making companies recorded a total loss of 13,351,815 USD.  One company failed to disclose within the set deadline.

MOU Signed Between Qatar Stock Exchange And Borsa Istanbul

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and the Borsa Istanbul today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the QSE premises in Doha.  The purpose of the MOU is to formalize cooperation between the two markets. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mr. Rashid bin Ali Al-Mansoori, CEO of Qatar Stock Exchange, and Mr. Tuncay Dinç, CEO of Borsa Istanbul in the presence of the Turkish delegation representing Borsa Istanbul.

Montréal Exchange Approved As A Foreign Board Of Trade By The CFTC

Montréal Exchange Inc. (MX), Canada's national derivatives exchange, announced that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has approved its application to register as a Foreign Board of Trade (FBOT). Under the Order, MX is permitted to provide its identified members and other participants located in the U.S. with direct access to MX's electronic order entry and trade matching system.

A British Columbia Securities Commission panel has sanctioned Robert Frederick Weicker for tipping, and his wife, Amina Umutoni Weicker, for insider trading. 

CFTC: Federal Court In North Carolina Enters Judgment Against Ron Earl McCullough And David Christopher Mayhew In Foreign Currency Ponzi Scheme

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that Senior Judge James C. Fox of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina entered a default judgment Order against Defendants Ron Earl McCullough and David Christopher Mayhew, both from Raleigh, North Carolina. The Order requires McCullough and Mayhew jointly to pay $1,223,388.43 in restitution and a $2,486,619.87 civil monetary penalty. The Order also enters a permanent injunction that imposes permanent trading and registration bans against the Defendants and prohibits them from violating the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) and CFTC regulations, as charged.
