Good morning. It’s a pleasure to be here.

Let me thank Bob Schwartz, first, for the invitation to talk with you this morning, and second, for his tireless work to foster a greater understanding of trading and securities market structure. As always, Bob has laid out a very thoughtful and provocative theme for the conference, “40 Years of Experience with NMS: Who are the Winners and What Have We Learned?” It looks like we are in for a treat today with all the excellent panels and I would like to share my views on the National Market System.     

CME Group Declares Dividend

CME Group Inc., the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today declared a fourth-quarter dividend of $0.50 per share, payable December 28, 2015, to shareholders of record as of December 10, 2015.

FIA Re-Publishes SEF Tracker Report For September

FIA has re-published the September issue of the FIA SEF Tracker to correct an error in one of the tables. The error affected the presentation of data for only one SEF and did not affect the underlying data or the volume or market share calculations. The re-published issue is available on the SEF Tracker webpage and is numbered #18R.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Will Launch The TA-25 Net Dollar Index As Of November 15, 2015 - The TA-25 Net Dollar Index Has Been Designed Specifically As An Underlying Benchmark For A Large ETF Provider

The board of directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) approved the launch of a new index - TA-25 Net Dollar, which will be published as of November 15. The new index is a dollar version of the TA-25 Index, with a net total return. The Index will be calculated at the end of every day, according to the closing prices of the shares comprising the index.

Third Quarter Disclosure 2015: Net Profit After Tax Of Listed Companies On The Palestine Exchange (PEX)

Third quarter total profits after tax of thirty four companies were 228 million USD while the loss of the other fifteen companies amounted to (15.38) million USD for the same period. Net profit after tax exceeded 212 million USD (Profits - Losses) in Q3 2015 a growth of 16% compared to same period of 2014.

ESAs Define Risk Weights For Credit Ratings In The EU

The Joint Committee of the three European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA - ESAs) has published today two draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on credit assessments by External Credit Assessment Institutions (ECAIs). By determining an objective approach for attributing risk weights to the assessments of ECAIs, as well as a prudential approach for those cases lacking factual evidence, these standards will ensure sound credit assessments contributing to financial stability in the EU.
