Borsa İstanbul And The Development Bank Of The Republic Of Belarus Sign MoU

Borsa İstanbul and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that outlines the framework of action of their future cooperation. Within the scope of the MoU, the two institutions are expected to work closely in order to introduce Development Bank issued bonds to the Turkish capital markets.

SEC: Sanket Bulsara Named Deputy General Counsel For Appellate Litigation And Adjudication - Michael Conley Appointed Solicitor; Former Solicitor Jacob Stillman To Be Senior Advisor

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it has named Sanket J. Bulsara as the Deputy General Counsel for Appellate Litigation and Adjudication. He succeeds Michael A. Conley who has been appointed as SEC Solicitor. Former Solicitor Jacob H. Stillman will remain as senior advisor to the Solicitor.

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published today an update of existing technical standards regarding data reporting requirements under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). EMIR requires counterparties to report their derivative trades to trade repositories following a defined data format.
US Federal Banking Agencies Announce Final EGRPRA Outreach Meeting

The federal banking agencies will hold an outreach meeting on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Arlington, Va., as part of their regulatory review under the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 (EGRPRA).
OCC Comments On Recent Cyber Security Legislation

OCC, as an advocate for the listed options industry, joined a broad set of U.S. business organizations in sending a letter to key members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives regarding approval of recent cybersecurity measures in both houses that would implement a legal framework critical to encourage industry to voluntarily share cybersecurity information with the federal government. The letter asks the U.S. Congress, as they work to reconcile the two pieces of legislation, to remove Section 407 from the Senate bill. That section could provide the Department of Homeland Security with cybersecurity regulatory authority over critical infrastructure that is already regulated in this regard at the federal level by other agencies.
