First Euro STOXX 50 ETF To Be Listed In Australia

STOXX Ltd., the operator of Deutsche Boerse Group’s index business, and a global provider of innovative and tradable index concepts, today announced that the EURO STOXX 50 Index has been licensed to ANZ ETFS Management (ANZ ETFS) to serve as the underlying for an exchange-traded fund (ETF) in Australia that will be available later this month. ANZ ETFS is a partnership between Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) and ETF Securities, providing ETF product solutions to Australian investors.

The Corporate Governance Center of the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), directed by the Financial Supervisory Commission (the FSC), in conjunction with the Taiwan Depository Clearing Corp., the Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Association, and the Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable collectively, launched the “Stewardship Principles for Institutional Investors” (hereafter, “the Principles”) on 30 June.

Technical Error Occurred During Release Of June FOMC Minutes

A technical error occurred Wednesday during the media lock-up for the release of the minutes of the June meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee. As a result of the error in the use of the Federal Reserve equipment that cuts off and enables electronic access from the media lock-up room, one media organization informed us it prematurely transmitted some embargoed information. Our technical error also resulted in some media organizations experiencing a delay in their ability to transmit information. We are reviewing our protocols and have reported the technical error to the Federal Reserve's Office of Inspector General.

Trading value in the equity market (BOVESPA segment) totaled BRL 143.65 billion in June compared with BRL 139.58 billion the previous month. Average daily trading value was BRL 6.52 billion, vis-à-vis BRL 6.64 billion in May. Total volume reached 19,491,168 from 19,650,240 the previous month. Average daily volume was 885,962 (935,726 in May).
