European Securities And Market Authority And European Banking Authority Report On Investment Firms

The European Securities and Market Authority (ESMA) has cooperated with the European Banking Authority (EBA) in the development of an EBA report on investment firms. This report is issued in response to a call for advice by the European Commission on the prudential requirements applicable to investment firms addressed to EBA in December 2014.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC)’s Omgeosubsidiary, the global standard for institutional post-trade efficiency, and Simcorp, the leading provider of investment management solutions and services, today announced that the first live repurchase agreement (repo) trade has been automatically processed in SimCorp Dimension and Omgeo Central Trade ManagerSM (Omgeo CTM) between Kammarkollegiet and Nordea Bank. This marks a significant milestone in DTCC’s ongoing partnership with SimCorp to deliver straight-through processing (STP) to the marketplace.

Thai Bourse Discloses SET Indices Semi-Annual Review Results For The First Half Of 2016 And Change After BMCL-BECL Merger

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has announced the semi-annual index review results for the SET50, SET100 and SETHD indices to be used in the first half of 2016 (January 1-June 30, 2016). There will be three additions to SET50 Index, 14 additions to SET100 Index and two additions to SETHD Index. In addition, SET will soon announce the constituent changes in SET 100 and SETHD as a result of the merger between Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited (BMCL) and Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited (BECL).
