Circular On Self-Regulatory Measures Taken By CFFEX In April 2024

To prevent market risks, maintain orderly operation of the market and protect investors’ legitimate rights and interests, China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) took the following self-regulatory measures against violations of exchange rules in April 2024.

The Eastern Magistrates’ Court has sentenced two former licensees, Mr Yip Chi Wing and Mr Tsoi Chiu Kwan, to three months of imprisonment each following their convictions for false trading in the shares of Forebase International Holdings Limited (Forebase) (Note 1).

CFFEX: Notice On Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

The following equity index futures and options contracts are delivered on May 17, 2024 at their respective final settlement prices:

• IF2405 CSI 300 index futures contracts and the IO2405 series CSI 300 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 3647.21;
• IC2405 CSI 500 index futures contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 5442.10;
• IM2405 CSI 1000 index futures contracts and the MO2405 series CSI 1000 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 5511.79;
• IH2405 SSE 50 index futures contracts and the HO2405 series SSE 50 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 2501.52.

• The IF2407 CSI 300 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of 3654.6.
• The IC2407 CSI 500 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of 5432.6.
• The IM2407 CSI 1000 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of 5491.8
• The IH2407 SSE 50 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of 2506.2.
• The IO2408 series CSI 300 index options contracts are scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024.
• The MO2408 series CSI 1000 index options contracts are scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024.
• The HO2408 series SSE 50 index options contracts are scheduled to be listed on May 20, 2024.

New Zealand Financial Markets Authority And The Reserve Bank Of New Zealand: New AML/CFT Regulations – Joint Statement By AML/CFT Supervisors On Supervisory Approach

The Department of Internal Affairs, the Financial Markets Authority and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (‘the Supervisors’) welcome the changes to AML/CFT requirements as a result of the various Amendment Regulations coming into force on 1 June 2024. These changes will ensure New Zealand is meeting global AML/CFT standards. The Amendment Regulations introduce new requirements to the existing regulations relating to the cross-border transportation of cash, definitions, exemptions, requirements and compliance and prescribed transaction reporting.
