SET To Groom Learning Facilitators, Integrating Investment Knowledge Into Education System

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is committed to promoting financial literacy among Thai youth. The recent educational initiative so called “INVESTORY Investment Learning Design Bootcamp” has been organized for two consecutive years. The initiative provides knowledge and skills for secondary school teachers to design active learning models on personal finance and investment knowledge for their students. SET aims to further develop an investment curriculum for secondary school students in national education. To date, there are learning facilitators of this initiative in 66 educational institutions nationwide.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, CSI 1000 Index options, and SSE 50 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2405, IH2405, IC2405, IO2405(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in May 2024), IM2405,MO2405(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in May 2024),and HO2405(SSE 50 Index options contracts expiring in May 2024) is May 17, 2024.

Japan Financial Services Agency And Bank Of Japan: Release Of “Climate-Related Scenario Analysis- Next Step In The Banking Sector”

The Financial Services Agency (FSA) and the Bank of Japan (BOJ) are working on climate-related scenario analysis in the banking sector. In FY2021, the FSA and the BOJ conducted a pilot exercise using common scenarios in cooperation with three major banks and published the key results and takeaways of the exercise in August 2022. The FSA and the BOJ today published a summary of subsequent initiatives related to the scenario analysis and the framework of the second exercise to be conducted.

Since the publication of the first version of the "Discussion Paper for Dialogues on Practices of IT Governance at Financial Institutions" (Discussion paper) on June 21, 2019, the FSA has maintained dialogues with financial institutions on IT governance. Considerable progress in digital transformation (DX) has been made by financial institutions with the use of IT and digital technologies. To reflect these recent developments, the FSA updated the Discussion Paper in June 2023 following a public consultation in April-May 2023.
