  • EBA: Consultation On RTS And ITS On The Authorisation Of Credit Institutions

    he European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today a consultation on (i) regulatory technical standards (RTS) on the information to be provided to Competent Authorities for the authorisation of credit institutions and (ii) implementing technical standards (ITS) on the templates and procedures for the provision of such information. These standards aim at harmonising the information requirements in the authorisation process across the EU, thus facilitating the application process and ensuring a level playing field. The consultation runs until 8 February 2017.

  • Bursa Malaysia Seeks Public Feedback On Rule Framework For The (New) Market For SMEs

    Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) has today released a second consultation paper for its proposed (New) Market on Bursa Malaysia which aims to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) greater access to the capital market. The second public consultation paper on the proposed rule framework for the proposed (new) market follows from the Exchange’s first public consultation paper on the business model for the (New) Market, which was issued in September 2016.

  • ESMA Seeking Financial Innovation Experts For Stakeholder Panel

    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued today a call for candidates in order to renew the composition of its Consultative Working Group (CWG) which advises ESMA’s Financial Innovation Standing Committee (FISC). CWG members are selected for a renewable term of two years for the period January 2017 to December 2018.
