EBA Publishes Final Guidelines On Revised Pillar 3 Disclosures Requirements

he European Banking Authority (EBA) published today its final Guidelines on regulatory disclosure requirements following an update of the Pillar 3 requirements by the Basel Committee in January 2015. These Guidelines represent a significant step forward in the EBA's effort of improving and enhancing the consistency and comparability of institutions' regulatory disclosures

Polish Financial Supervision Authority Approves Paweł Ostrowski As President Of The Management Board Of TGE

The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) at its meeting on 13 December 2016 approved the change on the Management Board of the Towarowa Giełda Energii (TGE) through the appointment of Paweł Ostrowski as a President of the Management Board.

Good morning.  This is an open meeting of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on December 14, 2016 under the Government in the Sunshine Act.  Today, the Commission will consider the staff’s recommendation to approve the proposed 2017 budget and accounting support fee for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (“PCAOB”).  Under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Commission has the authority and responsibility for overseeing the PCAOB and approving the PCAOB’s annual budget and support fee.  Chairman Jim Doty, other Board members and staff of the PCAOB are here today as we consider these matters.  Thank you all for joining us and for the work that you do.

NYSE Agrees To Acquire National Stock Exchange

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), part of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE), today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the National Stock Exchange, Inc (NSX). The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Terms were not disclosed and the financial impact will not be material to ICE.
