European Parliament Asks EU Commission To Press For Full US-EU Visa Reciprocity

The EU Commission is legally obliged to take measures temporarily reintroducing visa requirements for US citizens, given that Washington still does not grant visa-free access to nationals of five EU countries. In a resolution approved on Thursday, MEPs urge the Commission to adopt the necessary legal measures “within two months”.

EBA: Consultation On Recommendations On The Coverage Of Entities In A Group Recovery Plan

The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today a consultation on its draft Recommendation on the coverage of entities in banking group recovery plans, which is aimed at defining common criteria to identify entities (subsidiaries and branches) that need to be covered in group recovery plans, and the extent of such coverage. Such criteria should help institutions avoid a fragmented approach in providing information in recovery plans, and provide a common guidance for home and host supervisors. The consultation runs until 02 June 2017.

(Bats) regarding the merger consideration to be received in CBOE Holdings' acquisition of Bats. As previously announced, the acquisition was effective on February 28, 2017.
