SEC: Voya Advisers Agree To Repay Clients And Settle Charges That They Failed To Disclose Securities Lending Conflict

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged two investment adviser subsidiaries of Voya Holdings Inc. with failing to disclose conflicts of interest and making misleading disclosures in connection with their practice of recalling securities on loan so their affiliates could receive tax benefits.

MIAX Options has received approval to amend Exchange Rule 402, Criteria for Underlying Securities, to permit the listing of an option on an underlying covered security that has a market price of at least $3.00 per share for the previous three consecutive business days preceding the date on which the Exchange submits a certificate to the Options Clearing Corporation (“OCC”) for listing and trading.

Vullo and the Supervisor of Banks at the Bank of Israel, Dr. Hedva Ber, today announced that they have signed an agreement of understanding and cooperation between the two authorities.  The Governor of the Bank of Israel, Dr. Karnit Flug, approved the signing of the document.

Canadian Securities Administrators Propose Changes To The Syndicated Mortgage Regime

The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) today published for comment proposed changes to substantially harmonize the regulatory framework for syndicated mortgages in Canada. The changes are reflected in proposed amendments to National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus Exemptions and National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements, Exemptions and Ongoing Registrant Obligations, as well as changes to Companion Policy 45-106CP Prospectus Exemptions.
