EEX Trading Results For August 2017 - EEX: Phelix-DE Futures Record Highest Volume Since Launch Of Trading

In August 2017, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) achieved a total volume of 178.9 TWh on its power derivatives markets (August 2016: 199.0 TWh). The August volume comprised 94.3 TWh traded at EEX via Trade Registration with subsequent clearing. Clearing and settlement of all exchange transactions was executed by European Commodity Clearing (ECC).

- Increase of the value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book on the GPW Main Market by 18.5% YoY to PLN 18.3 billion
- Increase of the average daily value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book to PLN 830.2 million (+18.5% YoY)
- Increase of the volume of trade in derivatives by 4.6% YoY to 521.4 thousand contracts
- Increase of the value of bond issues listed on Catalyst by 9.1% to PLN 86.1 billion
- Increase of the volume of spot and forward transactions in gas by 129.1% YoY to 17.4 TWh
- Increase of the volume of trade in property rights to certificates of origin by 20.3% to 3.6 TWh

PEGAS Trading Volumes In August 2017 - PEGAS Reports A Strong August With A Futures Trading Record On CEGH VTP

PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform operated by Powernext, records a strong month of August with a total volume of 164.5 TWh , which represents an increase of 32% compared to the previous year (August 2016: 125.0 TWh). Growth in volumes was observed especially on the futures segment with 111.5 TWh, including a record for the CEGH VTP market area with 3.1 TWh, almost doubling its previous high established in March 2017 (1.7 TWh).

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Obtains Disqualification And Court Orders Against Former Chairman And Current Directors Of Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Limited

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today obtained disqualification orders in the Court of First Instance against the former chairman, Mr Li Hejun, and four current independent non-executive directors, Ms Zhao Lan, Mr Wang Tongbo, Mr Xu Zheng and Mr Wang Wenjing, of Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Limited (Hanergy).
