Shanghai Stock Exchange: Notice Of Soliciting Public Opinions On Revising Rules For Corporate Bonds' Listing

To further standardize relevant businesses for listing and transfer of corporate bonds, facilitate the sound and stable development of the bond market and strengthen the protection on rights and interests of bond investors, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has revised the "SSE Rules for Corporate Bonds' Listing (Revised in 2015)" and the "SSE Provisional Measures on Business Administration of Non-public Issuance of Corporate Bonds" (The drafts for comments and the revision remarks are attached below). ASIC Consults On Foreign Financial Services Providers Relief Proposals

ASIC has today released a consultation paper proposing a modified licensing regime for foreign financial service providers carrying on a financial services business in Australia with wholesale clients. These foreign providers are global investment banks or wholesale managed funds. This approach would provide ASIC with a broader range of tools to regulate the activities of foreign providers in Australia.

Nadex: Monthly Bitcoin Mini Spread Contracts To List For June 1, 2018

On February 27, 2018, North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”), its intent to list new Mini Bitcoin Variable Payout Contracts, based on the underlying USD TeraBit Price Index, on or after March 1, 2018.  The new Mini Bitcoin Variable Payout (“Spread”) contract will have a duration of one month, and will be listed on the first trade date of each new month and expire on the last trade date of the month.
