  • Dalian Commodity Exchange Takes Series Of Innovative Moves To Serve Real Economy

    At the “12th China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference (CIOC)” held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on November 15, Jiang Wei, director of the Industry Development Department of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), pointed out in his keynote speech that as serving the real economy is the fundamental purpose of the futures market, DCE has continued to explore the innovative models to serve the industries and introduced the “combination blows” such as the “insurance + futures” program, the OTC options and the basis trading in recent years to support the real economy, achieving encouraging results in the market.

    On November 15, jointly sponsored by Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Bursa Malaysia, the “12th China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference (CIOC)” was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Wang Fenghai, CEO of DCE, said in his speech that with the oils and oilseeds futures products well developed and the futures and physicals closely integrated, DCE has basically established a multi-level hedging system including futures and options as well as the floor and OTC markets. DCE will step up reform and innovation, support the supply-side structural reform in agriculture, continue to deepen the cooperation with the bourses along “ the Belt and Road” including Bursa Malaysia, and provide development platforms for all participants in “ the Belt and Road” market.
