  • iSTOXX Global Economic Growth Select 50 Index Licensed To Citi

    STOXX Ltd., the operator of Deutsche Boerse Group’s index business, and a global provider of innovative and tradable index concepts, today introduced the iSTOXX Global Economic Growth Select 50 Index. It was licensed to Citi as an underlying for structured products. It is a complementary index to the iSTOXX Europe Economic Growth Select 50 which was launched earlier this year.

  • ESMA Clarifies Endorsement Regime For Third-Country Credit Ratings

    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published its Final Report updating its Guidelines on the application of the endorsement regime under the CRA (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulation. The entry into force of the 2013 amendments to the CRA Regulation (CRA 3), and the associated introduction of new requirements to endorsed ratings in 2018, provided an opportunity for ESMA to review the regime more broadly.

  • US$2b Of Capital Svailable For FinTech Start-Ups Through Singapore FinTech Festival 2017’s Investor Summit

    Over 1,000 attendees, comprising investors and FinTech start-ups, turned up at the Singapore FinTech Festival’s Investor Summit or “Deal Day” today, and up to US$2 billion of capital was made available for the start-ups. The Investor Summit was the finale of the four-month long matchmaking programme to provide opportunities for FinTech start-ups to access funding from local and global investors. More than 1,000 FinTech start-ups and 400 investors indicated interest to participate in the process and 525 connections were made among interested parties.

  • ESMA Publishes Final Report On Money Market Funds Rules

    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published a final report on the Money Market Funds Regulation (MMFR). The final report contains final versions of the technical advice, draft implementing technical standards (ITS), and guidelines on stress test scenarios carried out by MMF managers under the MMFR. The key requirements relate to asset liquidity and credit quality, the establishment of a reporting template and stress test scenarios carried out by MMF managers.
