Female Industry Veterans Hired To Lead OpenDoor Sales Team

OpenDoor Securities, LLC (“OpenDoor”), the first all-to-all marketplace for illiquid US Treasuries, has named Marie Patton as Chief Administrative Officer and Co-Head of Sales, and Lauren McFall Gardner as Managing Director and Co-Head of Sales. In addition to her collaboration with McFall Gardner spearheading the sales and marketing functions of the Company, Patton will also focus on optimizing day-to-day operations for the CEO and coordination among all internal department heads as CAO. Both will report directly to CEO, President and Co-Founder Susan Estes.

KDPW Reduces LEI Issuance And Renewal Fees

The fees for the issuance and renewal of LEIs in KDPW will be reduced by 20 percent on average as of 1 July 2018. KDPW is the only Polish institution authorised to issue LEIs in the Global LEI System. The issuance of LEIs is a part of the integrated portfolio of KDPW Group services which support the operation and development of the Polish financial market.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Hosts WFE Board Of Directors Meeting, Summit Forum On Capital Market Development

With tides surging in the east, all rivers run into the sea. Recently, as the chairman exchange for the board of directors of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has hosted the two-day WFE board of directors meeting and the summit forum on capital market development with the great trust of the industry stakeholders. Attending and addressing the event were Yan Qingmin, vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Wu Qing, vice mayor of Shanghai and chairman of WFE, Nandini Sukumar, CEO of WFE, and Huang Hongyuan, Party chief and chairman of SSE, and Jiang Feng, deputy Party chief and president of SSE, was also present at the event. The chiefs of the exchanges in various countries and regions across the world gathered in Shanghai to discuss the international development of the capital markets, building Shanghai as an international financial centre, FinTech regulation, green finance and other cutting-edge topics. Sharing views at the forum were about 56 representatives of exchanges, market institutions and associations from home and abroad.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange May 2018 Market Summary - TOCOM May 2018 Daily Volume Averaged 94,384 Contracts, Up 1.2% YoY Monthly Total Volume Increased 6.3% YoY

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange reported today that average daily volume for May 2018 was 94,384 contracts, up 1.2% year-over-year. Gold Standard volume rose 24.1% to 28,563 contracts, Gold Mini by 41.4% to 3,682 contracts, Gold Rolling Spot was up 19.5% to 12,705 contracts and Dubai Crude Oil increased 5.0% to 23,191 contracts. Platinum Standard volume was down 12.0% to 9,206 contracts.
