    Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) today announced that its near- and long-term science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (“SBTi”). The SBTi is a global body that enables organisations to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. This validation makes Bursa Malaysia the first exchange in Asia to receive such recognition, underscoring its leadership in climate action and commitment to sustainable practices.
