  • BME: MARF Registers A New Bond Issue By Naviera Elcano

    MARF today registered a new bond issue of Naviera Elcano, with a value of 50 million euros and maturity in 2023. It is the second time that Elcano has tapped this market following a previous issue, in November 2016, for 33. 5 million euros. The issue has been closed with an individual per-bond value of 100,000 euros, a 5.5% annual coupon and final redemption on July 26, 2023.                                                                                                         

  • Nigerian Stock Exchange Weekly Stock Market Report For July 27th 2018

    A total turnover of 1.417 billion shares worth N16.739 billion in 19,832 deals were traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange in contrast to a total of 1.665 billion shares valued at N14.834 billion that exchanged hands last week in 18,795 deals.

  • CFTC Chairman Giancarlo Supports American Crop Insurance

    The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) Office of Public Affairs (OPA) issued the following statement today:

    “In this week’s House Agriculture Committee hearing, in response to a question, Chairman Giancarlo recounted conversations he’s had with young American farmers,” said OPA Director Erica Elliott Richardson. “The Chairman said that he believes healthy markets are markets with a lot of diversity. Chairman Giancarlo has always been a vocal supporter of crop insurance as part of a healthy risk management toolbox, and these tools are part of the reason why American agriculture is the breadbasket to the nation and the world.”

  • SGX Reports FY2018 Net Profit Of S$363 Million

    • Revenue: S$845 million, up 5% from a year earlier
    • Operating profit: S$425 million, up 6%
    • Net profit: S$363 million, up 7%
    • Earnings per share: 33.9 cents, up 7%
    • Proposed final dividend: 15 cents per share, and total dividend of 30 cents per share for the year, up by 2 cents

  • Hong Kong’s Securities And Futures Commission Implements Open-Ended Fund Companies Regime

    The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today announced the implementation of the new open-ended fund companies (OFC) regime with effect from 30 July 2018. This will enable investment funds to be established in corporate form in Hong Kong, in addition to the current unit trust form.

  • ACER: The Agency Publishes Its First Analysis On Tariff Code Implementation For Gas

    The Agency published today its first Report on the implementation of the Network Code on Harmonised Transmission Tariff Structures for Gas. The code requires the NRA or TSO to consult stakeholders on the proposed tariff structure and forward the consultation document to the Agency, which has to analyse all these consultation documents for completeness and compliance. This Report presents the analysis of the Agency for the transmission system of the Netherlands.
