Intercontinental Exchange Approves Third Quarter Dividend Of $0.24 Per Share

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges and clearing houses and provider of data and listings services, announced today a $0.24 per share dividend for the third quarter of 2018. The cash dividend is payable on September 28, 2018 to stockholders of record as of September 13, 2018. The ex-dividend date is September 12, 2018.

Net Of Non-Jordanian Investment At Amman Stock Exchange Increased By JD30 Million

The total value of shares that were bought by non-Jordanian investors at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) in July 2018 was JD39.9 million, representing 37.9% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD9.9 million. As a result, the net of non-Jordanian investments in July 2018 showed an increase by JD30 million, compared with an increase by JD13 million during the same month of 2017.

Inaugural Reuters-NABJ Scholarships At New York University And Columbia University Awarded To Arriana McLymore And Akintunde Ahmad

Reuters, the world’s largest international multimedia news provider, announced today the winners of two Reuters-National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) scholarships, awarded to Arriana McLymore and Akintunde Ahmad for graduate journalism programs at New York University and Columbia University, respectively. Each student will receive a value of more than $40,000 in tuition and credits for the 2018-2019 academic year funded by Reuters and the universities.

CFTC Announces Multiple Whistleblower Awards Totaling More Than $45 Million

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced multiple whistleblower awards totaling more than $45 million. The awards demonstrate the growing success of the CFTC’s Whistleblower Program, in particular the increasing volume and complexity of incoming whistleblower submissions. Just last month, the CFTC announced an award of approximately $30 million to one whistleblower (see CFTC press release 7753-18, July 12, 2018) and the first award was made by the program to a whistleblower living in a foreign country (see CFTC press release 7755-18, July 16, 2018).

Due to high interest in the Austrian capital market and lively activity of trading members, the rally in equity turnover continues throughout the year 2018. In the month of July, the Vienna Stock Exchange recorded a turnover of EUR 5.02 billion. This is a plus of 11.6% versus the previous year (July 2017: EUR 4.50 billion).
