ETFGI Reports That ETFs And ETPs Listed In Europe Gathered Net Inflows Of US$5.06 Bn During November 2018

ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm on trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today that ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe gathered net new assets of US$5.06 billion during November 2018, marking the 50th consecutive month of net inflows. Tokyo Financial Exchange: Rollover of Leading Contract Month for Three-month Euroyen Futures

Tokyo Financial Exchange has decided to shift the leading contract month for Euroyen futures from the current December 2018 contracts to the March 2019 contracts due to arrival of the last trading day, effective from 17 Dec 2018.

Malaysia's Attorney General Files Criminal Charges Against Subsidiaries Of Goldman Sachs Investment Bank

Criminal charges for offences under the securities laws of Malaysia were filed today against subsidiaries of Goldman Sachs investment bank, its key employees, Tim Leissner and Roger Ng Chong Hwa (who will be charged shortly), together with former employee of 1MDB, Jasmine Loo Ai Swan and Low Taek Jho (commonly known as Jho Low).

On December 14, the listing ceremony of the "SCGC Talents Housing Group Talent Rental Housing Asset-backed Special Plan (1st Tranche)" (hereinafter referred to as the "SCGC Talent Rental Housing Tranche 1") was held at SZSE. Ai Xuefeng, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen, attended the event and delivered a speech. SZSE President & CEO Wang Jianjun and the representatives from Shenzhen’s Finance Commission, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Financial Services Office, Shenzhen Talents Housing Group, Shenzhen Capital Group (SCGC), and Guosen Securities also attended the ceremony.

Singapore Savings Bonds To Be Opened To Supplementary Retirement Scheme Funds; Individual Limit To Double To S$200,000

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced today that investors will be able to invest in Singapore Savings Bonds (SSB) using their Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS)1 funds starting from 1 February 2019. The Individual Limit for SSB will be raised to S$200,000 on the same date.

Today, Sunday, December 16, 2018, Qatar Alumnium Manufacturing Company “QAMCO” was listed on Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) to raise the number of listed companies to 46. The ceremony was attended by HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Petroleum Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi. The ceremony was also attended by a number of senior officials in the field of energy, finance and investments.
