  • BOX Exchange Fee Changes Related To Trading Floor Closure

    As indicated in a previous notice, as a precaution to reduce large gatherings that can contribute to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), BOX Exchange LLC (BOX) has closed the Trading Floor in Chicago effective Monday, March 23, 2020 until further notice. During the closure of the BOX Trading Floor, the following changes to BOX Fees will be in effect, subject to regulatory review:

    Commodity Futures Trading Commission Commissioner Dan Berkovitz, the sponsor of CFTC’s Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee (EEMAC), today announced amendments to the agenda for the public meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. The CFTC’s Division of Market Oversight Market Intelligence Branch (MIB) will present on recent developments in, and the operation of, the financial markets, with a focus on the energy derivatives markets.

  • Nadex Amends US Indices Listing Time And Amends Terms Uniform Across Contracts

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and section §40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted to the Commission on March 20, 2020 notice of its intent to begin listing its Daily and Weekly US Indices Binary and Call Spread contracts at 6:00pm ET on Sunday evening (for Monday’s trade date), rather than 3:00am ET.  Additionally, this submission provides notice that Nadex plans to remove the description of contract “Issuance” from each individual contract specification Rule and instead move this to Rule 12.1 Terms Uniform Across Contracts.
