The Saudi Arabia Capital Market Authority (CMA) Opens The Door To Apply For A Financial Technology Experimental Permit (FinTech ExPermit) For The 3rd Batch

Reference to the Capital market law issued by Royal Decree number (M/30) dated 31 July 2003, and The Financial Technology Experimental Permit Instructions published on 10/01/2018, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) is pleased to welcome applications for the 3rd batch for the FinTech ExPermits effective from 01/12/2019. The application period for the 3rd batch will be closed on 30/01/2020.

BOX Exchange: December Fee Change

Effective December 1, 2019, BOX Exchange LLC (“BOX” or the “Exchange”) is amending Section II.C of the BOX Fee Schedule (QOO Order Rebate) to remove the monthly rebate cap of $30,000 per month per Broker Dealer. BOX is not making any other changes to the QOO Order Rebate.

On November 26, the Signing Ceremony of PSX Trading and Surveillance Systems between SZSE and Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) was successfully concluded in Shenzhen. It is a lively practice of the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and a breakthrough in the technology cooperation between emerging markets. It’s also the first time that SZSE had its technology systems participate in the fierce competition with world’s top system suppliers on the international stage and won victory, making the first securities technology systems in China go abroad. SEC Halts Penny Stock Scheme Targeting Seniors

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it has filed an emergency action and obtained an asset freeze against the operators of a South Florida-based investment scheme that defrauded over 100 retail investors, many of whom are seniors. Two of the defendants charged were previously barred by the Commission from acting as brokers and offering penny stocks to investors.
