  • BANKEX, Fusion Foundation To Provide Digital Funding Platform For Small To Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)

    Fusion Foundation, the non-profit open source organization building the next generation infrastructure for decentralized global finance, and BANKEX, a fintech company developing a tokenization ecosystem, have entered into an agreement to bring a new set of collateralized digital assets to market, initially targeting small to medium-sized enterprises (SME) and commercial lenders.

    As part of its continuous efforts to enhance its global presence and build a broad network of international financial institutions and entities, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the region's leading financial market, participated in Milken Institute’s Global Conference in Los Angeles from April 28 to May 01. The delegation was headed by H.E. Khalifa Salem Al Mansouri, Acting Chief Executive of ADX, and as part of its U.S. tour, also visited NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on May 02 and 03, respectively.

  • Amman Stock Exchange Listed Companies: 23.1% Growth In Net Profits During The First Quarter Of 2019

    Increasing the net profit of 184 listed companies in the first and second markets at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) by JD 48.2 million or 23.1% compared with the same period in 2018. This is according to companies' financial statements for the First Quarter of 2019 that reached JD 237.3 million in comparing with JD 209.1 million for the year of 2018.

  • Amman Stock Exchange: 4.3% Increase In Cash Dividend For The Listed Companies In 2018

    The cash dividend for the companies listed at the ASE for 2018 amounted approximately JD 802.5 million representing 4.3% increase compared to 2017. This resulted in a fall in the companies' shares prices for who distributed cash profits. Hence, the general price index was affected.

    CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, announced that more than 310,000 Micro E-mini futures contracts traded yesterday across all four indices - the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, Russell 2000 and Dow Jones Industrial Average indexes. Total cumulative volume included more than 75 firms facilitating trading – making Micro E-minis the most successful new product launch in CME Group's history.
