Shenzhen Stock Exchange: FinTech Center Holds 2019 Closing Report And 2020 Opening Report Meeting

On May 28, the Securities and Futures Fintech Research and Development Center (Shenzhen) (the "Fintech Center") established and operated by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange ("SZSE") successfully held the 2019 Closing Report and 2020 Opening Report Meeting. The meeting strictly implemented the requirements of the regular pandemic prevention and control via a combination of online and offline means. About 200 persons including relevant leaders of the Technology Regulation Bureau under the China Securities Regulatory Commission ("CSRC") and the SZSE, representatives of the Securities Association of China and the Asset Management Association of China, consultants of the Fintech Center and leaders of some research team attended the meeting,. The attendees made in-depth exchanges on the development and application of financial technology in the industry.

EGX Announces Trading Hours To Be Applied After Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced trading hours to be applied starting Sunday 31st of May 2020, as follows:
- Trading of main market and SMEs market; from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, preceded by a discovery session at 9:30 am.
- Recording orders in the deals market from 9:15 am to 9:30 am.
- Trading session for non-listed securities (Orders Market, OTC) on Monday and Wednesday only of each week from 12:00 am to 12:30 pm.
- Trading session for non-listed securities (Deals Market, OTC) from 09:30 am to 11:00 am.

The Federal Reserve announced on March 23rd that it would purchase corporate bonds for the first time in its 107-year history. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York announced that the Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility (SMCCF) will begin purchases of exchange traded funds (ETFs) on May 12th.

Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased volatility in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of May 26, 2020 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.

Canadian Securities Regulators: Temporary Relief From Certain Regulatory Filings Available To Registrants And Unregistered Capital Markets Participants Due To Covid-19

The securities regulatory authorities in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and Yukon (the participating jurisdictions) published temporary blanket relief for registrants and unregistered capital markets participants from certain financial statement and information delivery requirements, as a result of COVID-19. The conditions of the relief are substantially the same as the temporary relief announced on March 23 (prior relief), but the relief is only applicable to registrants and unregistered capital markets participants with filing deadlines in the periods described below.
