While maintaining the overall framework of the 3rd Medium –Term Management Plan, we will:

• Review concrete measures, flexibly managing costs in response to changes in the environment and the progress of the plan. As part of this, actively develop ways to further diversify the revenue stream, such as by invigorating the comprehensive exchange and creating new data services. 
• As ESG becomes an important topic around the world, further strengthen measures to promote sustainability by encouraging the spread of ESG investment and ESG disclosure, as well as improving JPX’s ESG disclosure and ESG ratings as a company.

Bursa Malaysia Successfully Implements ISO 20022 Messaging Standards For Corporate Announcements

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) has successfully implemented ISO 20022 messaging standards for corporate announcements by Public Listed Companies (“PLCs”). Joining other exchanges around the world such as the Australian Securities Exchange, Singapore Exchange, Indonesia Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange, the ISO 20022 message is an international standard accepted and adopted around the world.

Today, the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (“SESC”) recommended that the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency (“FSA”) take administrative disciplinary action against Eastspring Investments Limited1 (hereinafter, “the Company”), an Investment Management Business Operator, an Investment Adviser/Agency and a Type II Financial Instruments Business Operator), pursuant to Article 20(1) of the Act for Establishment of the Financial Services Agency, after the SESC identified the undermentioned deficiencies as a result of its inspection of the Company.
