    It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Lusaka Securities Exchange Plc (LuSE) Board and Staff informs the public of the untimely passing of the LuSE Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Priscilla Chikuni Sampa. She passed away on 18th December 2022 after a short illness.

    The total value of transactions during the month in review reached €4,14 million, with an average of €0,19 million per trading session. The Financials sector contributed 69,78% to the total value traded which was the highest among all other sectors. Investors primarily focused their interest on the shares of “Bank of Cyprus Holdings Plc” and also on shares of “Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd” with 48,32% and 15,49% of the total value respectively.

  • Discussing Ways To Enhance Communication And Cooperation Between The Amman Stock Exchange And The Palestine Exchange

    The CEO of the ASE, Mr. Mazen Wathaifi, received at the Exchange's headquarters on Thursday 15/12/2022 a delegation from the Palestine Exchange (PEX) represented by Mr. Samir Hulileh, Chairman of the Board, and Board Member Mr. Zeyad Barghouthy, General Manager Mr. Nihad Kamal and Mrs. Zakia Hanani   Senior Business Management, in order to enhance cooperation and relations, and in the presence of Mr. Bassam Abu Abbas, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Dr. Malak Al-Jazazi from the Communication and Media Department at the ASE. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance communication, joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between the ASE and the PEX, which comes as an embodiment of the close brotherly ties between the State of Palestine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

After introducing five net-zero ETFs tracking Solactive’s indices this year to the market, DWS launches now an Emerging Market Net Zero Pathway Paris Aligned UCITS ETF (XEMN), which tracks the Solactive ISS ESG Emerging Market Net Zero Pathway Index. The Xtrackers Emerging Market Net Zero Pathway Paris Aligned UCITS ETF follows the same climate reduction targets as the rest of the series. It listed on the Deutsche Börse and the London Stock Exchange.

    The CEO of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) Mr. Mazen Wathaifi, received the Counselors at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Olgaz Raev and Mr. Rustam Jumatov, on Thursday 15/12/2022, to discuss ways to enhance communication and joint cooperation and enhance bilateral investment and economic relations between the two countries in general and between the ASE and the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in particular.
