Clearing House KDPW_CCP Implements New Clearing System For OTC Derivatives

As of 19 December 2022, KDPW_CCP clears OTC derivatives in a new system. It functions as one of the clearing modules of the kdpw_stream system, where all transactions handled by the KDPW Group are cleared as settled.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Further Expands Fee Reduction Scope To Boost Economy Off To A "Stable Start"

Since this year, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and its subsidiaries have continued to explore the space for reducing costs and surrendering profits, rolling out fee reduction measures by category and tier to temporarily waive fees, lower standards and optimize pricing structures. This has benefited a wide range of market entities and is considered the biggest fee cut in recent years. To effectively support the development of the real economy and reduce the costs of market entities, the SSE proposes to further expand the scope of beneficiaries in 2023. According to preliminary estimates, the fee cut will surrender profits of about 501 million yuan to market entities.

In June 2022, the JFSA released a report on the tentative decisions and basic directions with regard to fundamental elements of the new regulation (the framework of the standard method in particular). CFFEX: Notice On Reducing The 2023 Delivery Fee And Exercise (Assignment) Fee By Half

Shanghai Gold Exchange: Notice On The Exemption Of Storage Fees, Load-In Fees, Load-Out Fees, And Other Fees For International Members And Customers In 2023

To encourage delivery activities across the International Board of Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) and to reduce costs of all international members and customers, SGE hereby announces that all international members and customers will be exempted from Storage Fees, Load-in Fees, Load-out fees, Bullion Moving Fees, and other vaulting related service fees and charges. The exemption period will start after the end-of-day clearing on the last trading day of 2022 and will end before the end-of-day clearing on the last trading day of 2023.

CFFEX Reduces The 2023 Delivery Fee And Exercise (Assignment) Fee By Half

On December 23, 2022, China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) released the Notice on Reducing the 2023 Delivery Fee and Exercise (Assignment) Fee by Half, according to which the delivery fee for equity index futures and CGB futures as well as the exercise (assignment) fee for equity index options will be reduced by half from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.
